The problem
Midwest Basement Systems needed a better way for sales reps and field technicians to communicate with customers, manage appointments, and complete service contracts in the field. Their existing process relied on too many disconnected steps and made customer communication slower and less consistent.
What I built
I built Stowify, a custom customer communication and contract-management platform designed specifically for their team. It brought appointment communication, digital contracts, electronic signatures, texting, and internal workflows into a single system that could be used from desktop or mobile devices.
- Integrated Adobe EchoSign to dynamically generate contracts and place signature fields based on contract type, allowing customers to sign from any device.
- Integrated Twilio for automated and two-way text messaging, along with APIs for managing users, appointments, and customer data.
- Built the supporting infrastructure, including scalable cloud servers, load balancing, CDN services, automated deployments, and a Chrome extension for capturing data from existing systems.
Result
Customer response rates rose more than 300%, while the platform streamlined how the company scheduled appointments, communicated with homeowners, and completed service contracts.
